Inspired by my late grandfather, we called him "Grandpere", meaning "Grandfather" in French, who was an explorer, world traveler, surgeon and magician. He was my inspiration for my own fascination with travel and exploration. Often times, I would get lost in his treasure trove of a study, where he kept trinkets and relics from all of his expeditions across remote areas of the world. In the 1940-50

He was my inspiration for my own fascination with travel and exploration. Often times, I would get lost in his treasure trove of a study, where he kept trinkets and relics from all of his expeditions across remote areas of the world. In the 1940-50s, Surgeons were taught sleight of hand skills to be better with their finger dexterity, something my Grandpere learned and employed overseas to bridge cultural and communicative divides.
For magicians, card players, or card collectors - These playing cards have been printed on the highest quality air cushion finish by the United States Playing Card Company and feature unique pips, Ace of Spades, vintage style back and front finish, unique back design, and custom court cards featuring famous explorers from the Golden Age of Exploration.
